Il est des jours frappés de grâce.

Quoi de plus intimidant que de rencontrer des personnes qui ont été une véritable source d’inspiration pour votre travail ?

Carole, enfant et adolescente vouait un véritable culte au film « Labyrinth » réalisé par Jim Henson, louant celui-ci dans le video club local à chaque fois que ce film était disponible.

Lorsque Bruno et Carole se sont rencontrés Labyrinth a été un des premiers films qu’ils ont regardé ensemble.


Le travail de Bruno avait été largement influencé par « Labyrinth » et « Dark Crystal » on se souviendra de la réalisation de Cornegut et Erzébet humble hommage à Brian et Wendy Froud.


Il était donc tout naturel que la rencontre avec Wendy et Brian Froud soit empreinte de beaucoup d’émotion puisque ces deux légendes avaient collaboré (entre autre) à ces deux aventures cinématographiques.

What is more intimidating than meeting people who were a real source of inspiration for your work .... and your life ?

As a child and a teenager, Carole worshipped Jim Henson’s " Labyrinth " renting it at the local video store every time this film was available.

When Carole and Bruno met, Labyrinth was one of the first films they watched together.

The work of Bruno had been widely influenced by "Labyrinth" and "Dark Crystal". One of the first workshop’s realizations was a very humble tribute to Brian and Wendy Froud’s work as Cornegut and Erzébet.

It was thus quite natural that the meeting with Wendy and Brian Froud was full of emotion because these two legends had collaborated -among others- in both "Labyrinth" and "Dark Crystal".
